Description:

Learn more about your power as a believer in Christ, as Joseph and Heather Z highlight our empowerment through faith. They explore the power within believers under the new covenant, emphasizing the importance of scripture over tradition.

Heather reminds us of the story of Samson, who had the supernatural ability to outrun his enemies. She declares that each of us can also outrun our adversaries, just like Samson, because we are part of a new covenant. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead resides within us. Heather encourages us to focus our eyes on the Lord, so that everything else in our lives will align.

On another note, Joseph emphasizes that as God is, so are we in this world. He highlights the twenty-one gifts that are available to everyone within the body of Christ. Joseph explains that a believer's life is grounded in scripture, tradition, experiences, and rationality; thus, we embrace the belief system that led us to Jesus. He clarifies that it is the tradition of men that renders God's word ineffective and urges us to move from tradition to scripture, assuring us that the Holy Spirit will guide us to all truth.

He references Ephesians 4:11 to remind us that teachers and prophets exist in the body of Christ for the equipping and edification of the saints. He outlines the roles of apostles, prophets, and evangelists within the body of Christ.

Joseph also describes the four fundamental prophetic gifts: Roeh (the visionary gift), Nabi (an inspirational gift of the Holy Spirit that operates through God's voice or divine inspiration), Chazah (to gaze), and Chozeh (to peer into the future or lean forward to look ahead). He clarifies that God works through us with these gifts when we dedicate our time to Him and His Word.
