He leads us to the Book of Galatians 1:3-4 to establish God’s will for our lives, which is to deliver us from this present evil age; for Jesus gave Himself not only for our sins, but also to deliver us from this evil age. Also, he cites the Book of Isaiah 10:27 to inform us that God’s anointing breaks the yoke of bondage, it lifts the yoke off our shoulders in a 30, 60, and 100 fold.

Similarly, he explains that the knowledge of God and maturing in His word empowers us to outgrow the yoke of bondage in our lives. Thus, as children of God, we must rise to the responsibility of achieving what God has called us to do by showing up and having our voices heard, thereby lifting oppressors off of our shoulders. He asserts that the church must rise to amplify God’s voice to the nations until they are glad because of good leadership and rulers.
Furthermore, Joseph references the Book of Romans 13:1-4 to outline our duties to leadership authority, leading us to understand that God’s appointed ruler should be a terror to evil and not pervert the laws of the land. Interestingly, he leads us to realize that where the governing authorities disobey the law that installed them in the seat of authority, the people must follow the law of the land to correct what the leaders have perverted. He alludes to the Biblical story of Lucifer who perverted the seat of authority but earned himself an everlasting punishment. He then insists on the need to remove leaders who pervert the laws that brought them into the seat of leadership.
