Rabbi Jason notes that Haman is a descendant of Amalek, whom King Saul spared in defiance of God's command to eliminate. In contrast, Esther and Mordecai hail from the tribe of Benjamin, a direct lineage of King Saul, who were tasked with combating the spirit of Amalek.
Rabbi Jason emphasizes that God's actions in the past serve as indicators of what He plans to do in the future, guiding us through the promises and prophecies found in Scripture.
