He outlines the various ways God communicates with us: Roeh (the visionary leader), Nabi (inspiration or bubbling up), Chazah (to gaze, or word of knowledge), and Chozeh (to lean forward and peer into the future). He explains that these gifts can function in our lives individually, with some being more prominent than others. Each of these gifts also connects to the twenty-one gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Joseph continues by explaining that prophecy encompasses not only comforting, edifying, and exhorting but also delivering a clear word of knowledge. He stresses the necessity of following the Spirit’s leading when prophesying, rather than simply sharing everything we perceive. This alignment is achieved through reading the Bible until it influences every aspect of our lives.
