Joseph clarifies that having authority in the natural realm requires a physical body. This underscores why Jesus came to Earth in the flesh: to regain the authority that Adam lost to the devil through deception. He emphasizes that physical bodies hold authority in the natural world and act as gatekeepers between the spiritual and physical realms. Consequently, spiritual forces cannot intervene in earthly matters without human consent.
He elaborates that while angels do not respond to our personal voices, we possess the power to influence things, thereby allowing angels to fulfill their roles. Joseph teaches that we are composed of spirit, soul, and body, highlighting that mortal men receive tithes here, but in heaven, they are received by Him who is eternally alive, as illustrated in Hebrews 7:8. He goes on to clarify that when we engage in acts of faith in the natural world, we transcend our soul (composed of our mind, will, and emotions) and unlock a spiritual reality that manifests in the natural as a miracle.
Importantly, Joseph explains how angels are activated to respond to our needs. He stresses that angels do not listen to our pleas or prayers unless they align with God’s voice, as shown in Psalm 103:20. He firmly states that angels heed only the voice of God, which is reflected in the written word. He references Hebrews 1:7, Hebrews 1:14, and Psalm 29:7 to affirm that God’s angels act solely on His command. Additionally, Psalm 35:27 highlights that angels are devoted to our prosperity when we align with God’s word. Joseph provides practical guidance on how to pray effectively, empowering us to activate angels who work on our behalf.
