He also states that when we’re willing and obedient, we encounter lovingkindness, cautioning against seeking acceptance in our rebellion rather than softening our hearts. He urges us to soften our hearts, as a softened and humble heart will eat of the good of the land. 

Alison emphasizes that we all need Jesus in our lives, because we’ve all fallen short of God’s glory. She also warns that everyone who rejects Jesus is destined for hell. Joseph urges us to repent of our sins, turn away from our evil ways, believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, and confess Him as our Lord and saviour to be saved.
