In today’s broadcast, Joseph Z teaches us the dynamic force of faith and patience. He makes us understand that faith and patience is the dynamic force that will bring you through the present evil age. He further asserted that to continuously obtain the promises of God despite the difficult times we’re experiencing, we must have faith and patience. Joseph went further to explain that the covenant of God does not stop working just because society is experiencing difficulty and that we’re covered despite whatever is going on in our lives if our faith is not shaken.
Moving on, we’re made to understand that whatever God has promised through his word, which is made accessible by the blood of Jesus are the things that accompany salvation. He went further to say that we can receive whatever the bible has promised by faith and that God’s promises don't come to pass automatically, we are required to play our part through faith and patience. He then charges us to also put in front of our eyes the things that represent what God has promised us. Additionally, he went further to teach us that whatever we think about is what we’re going to have, and whatever we’re looking at is where we’re going. We’re to believe in our hearts before we confess with our mouths because empty words not accompanied by attachment with the heart do not give birth to what we desire.
Joseph Z went on to enlighten us more on this by the word of God taken from the book of Hebrews which says, “But, beloved, we are convinced of better things concerning you, and things that accompany salvation, though we are speaking in this way. For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. For when God made the promise to Abraham since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself”
Furthermore, Joseph admonishes us not to be sluggish but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherited the promises of God, and that we inherit God’s promises through faith and patience. He went further to explain that God’s word is like a seed on the ground and we’ve to cultivate it for us to reap that promise. He further went on to enlighten us that we can have a promise from God, and it may take years for that promise to come to pass, and if we can maintain our endurance, faith and patience then it’s ours. This is why the devil combats us during this period to distract us so that we give up on the process of obtaining these promises. Joseph finalized this by assuring us that when we endure the trials we obtain the promises of God.
Remember, trials don’t last always but you will!
