He goes on to reveal that we’re now in a valley of decision, in which we will choose this day whom we will serve. He clarifies that when we’re in Christ Jesus, we’re no longer under the law of the Old Testament, because our Lord Jesus Christ fulfilled the law to set us free. Joseph shows how walking with Jesus gives us an advantage on the battlefield because we’re walking in the highest currency in the universe, the blood of Jesus.
Joseph cautions against fear because we’re created for such a time as this, urging us to lean into Jesus, for it is God’s will that we’re delivered from this present evil age. He encourages unity during these times, declaring that strength is rising upon us because we're walking in God’s blessings. He cites Galatians 3:5-14 to establish that God never stopped working His miracles among us, explaining that just as Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness, only those of us who are of faith are sons of Abraham and, as such, blessed.
He further shows how our belief in Christ Jesus frees us from the curse of the Law. Joseph goes on to enlighten us about God’s blessing, which makes us rich and adds no sorrow. Interestingly, he warns that both God and the devil are territorial, and the territory they contest for is our mind. He urges us to be of good cheer in times of difficulties, for Christ has overcome the world.
